Long Road Racing (THSCC track program sponsor) is working with THSCC to host a Dyno Day at their facility in N. Raleigh. We are currently proposing March 10th for this event. We'd aim to start at 9AM, and run ~4 pulls/hour until we're done. If there's significant interest, we can schedule a 2nd day soon as well.

Cost is $25 a pull. If you want to test changes, let me know so we can give you time between pulls.

They use a Dyno Jet 424 with AWD capability. The Dyno is normally set in 2WD mode, so they have requested that we keep the AWD cars together to minimize the impact of change-overs of the equipment. Please respond below if your pulls are for an AWD car so we know how many to expect for scheduling (likely AWD would be at the beginning of the day).

I know there are a number of folks who would be interested, so please respond to the poll with your desired # of pulls. Note that Dyno plots with A/F readings will be provided for each pull.

LRR is just off I-540 in North Raleigh: map link

Please let me know if there are questions, and I'll work with LRR to get them answered.

Also, please respond to the Poll, above!

Thanks!

Edit: Confirmed for 3/10! We will be working the schedule over the next week, so please stay tuned.

I'm in for 4 runs. Can I get my runs split into 2 and 2 so I can make changes.

Will LRR also be doing car setup that day? I need to get an alignment and corner balance on the Miata and was planning on bringing it there anyway.

e:
If they are keeping track of trailer space and what now I'll be towing my car in.

I'm sure this isn't a problem.

Dustin, I signed up for 4 pulls to cover you, me, rob, jason, max, and simon.

I *may* want to schedule a slot for the WRX, but it's Nathan's b-day so not sure yet...

They dont do tuning that i am aware of. But you could rent the dyno and bring your own tuner to do it.

I voted for 4 runs, 2 and 2 like Milko please sirs.

Are you going to run your 93 tune? I'd be curious to see how these 2 cars match up power wise. I've got a 93 tune as well.

Vincent, Rodney, and Jordan - you guys want 2 back to back pulls, or some time between to make changes? I'm sure if it's just an ECU retune (and assuming this a small number of minutes), that you can do this while strapped on the machine, but if you are doing something more significant, we'll want to know up front for scheduling.

Yes. I still haven't switched it back to the 87 tune like we discussed.

I've been focused on the upcoming Lemons/Chump racing season lately and have only driven the Mustang four days days in the last six weeks.

I'd like to do an ECU retune please, so I should be able to run back to back. Takes just a few minutes to swap out the tunes. Like to see what the car does w/ 93 gas on the stock and brenspeed tunes. I know the bullitt is set up to use 87 to 93 from the factory and adjust HP accordingly.

About the only thing I can tune is the air flow meter, so I can easily do that in a minute or two while it is strapped down.
