its off of falls of the neuse in N. Raleigh. probably 1.5-2 miles from 540/Falls (if you're going towards 440). its in the shopping center with TJMaxx, chicfila, homegoods.

I'm getting kind of nostalgic about Blincos. I really like that Beef Weck sandwich.

What if we just vote a few people out of the club so that the room won't be so crowded?

OK. So, as I have figured out from this convoluted conversation, for the March meeting we have decided on Aviator Brewery in Downtown Fuquay Varina, right?
Local beer.
Decent Bar-B-que.
Centrally located for our members in Eastern NC, Fayetteville and Florence, SC. Extremely short drive for the track snobbery and guest members from PCA. Free parking.
Even Remchak has endorsed this location.

Damn, perusing that menu had my mouth watering, they even have some pretty good salad choices for those trying to eat healthier. I'm not sure the location is the best but doable I suppose if the all the specifics work out. Who knows if the service will be any better, but I'm digging some monthly bbq even if it is Memphis style.

Its good stuff. This might entice me to come to a meeting. I haven't had it since I worked in Richmond back in 05, my hotel was just up the street from it.

I did some scouting this weekend while the braver than me drivers were at L-burg testing cars. I’ve looked at the following restaurants….

Duffy’s :
PLUS: has a nice room and they want us to come by and try them out. One of the lager rooms and has 2 pool tables. Could easily fit 45
NEG: getting there is tough, on Falls of the Neuse Rd

Sammy’s tap room :
PLUS: Staff wants out business. Could fit 50, but VERY tight
NEG: Smallish room and no way to close off. Right beside the main room. Tight seating

* Red Hot and Blue
PLUS: Damn, the food smelled great! We’ll have a dedicated server w/ separate food delivery. 40 is max for the room, but it’s a nice room and off to the side. Have additional seating right outside of the meeting room Have this one scheduled for March
NEG: on Falls of the Neuse Rd, tough to get in and out of at 6

Kick back Jacks in Garner (no room)

On the Border in Cary (no room)

* Ragazzi's in Cary
PLUS: This was the surprise of the day. BIG back room w/ plenty of seating and a great location, right at Cary Town Center. Plenty of parking.
NEG: Would like for us to develop a basic menu to allow faster service.

Carolina Alehouse in Cary
Still waiting to hear back from the manager. If we went here, we could sit in the patio area. Don’t know if they will allow a “private” party. Also very loud w/ all hard surfaces on the patio.

Red Robin (no room)

So, I read some positive feedback for RH&B and they have a decent room, but 40 is the max. In taking w/ the managers, they want us to come and try them out, so based on forum feedback I’ve booked this for the March meeting. This should be accessible from either i40 or i540.

I vote for giving Ragazzi's a try in Cary.
Centrally located, Chicken Limonata is killer! Never tried the pizza, but at least they give you a decent glass of wine for your $5.00

I think everyone wanted to give RH&B a try first. Ragazzi's is next on my list for that very item, location.

Not directly.

@Kevin, we've averaged just under 40 per meeting.
