We can use some help to give the bus a once over on Sunday July 31st. I've asked the officers to come over if possible, but I think we could use 2-4 more folks just for general clean up. Time is targeted from about 1-4. Wanted to go over the trailer and the bus and get it back in shape. The 2 day Jimmy V left it in a rather sad shape. I'd also like to sort out the cones again and paint the rallyx cones. Seems we've gotten them mixed up again.
The short list of what I'd like to see is.....
> go over cones, > go over consumables > test the timer heads and reflectors and find a better way to secure them > rework the front corner w/ the speaker stand, shovels, brooms and weedeater. Seems we're always fighting that area. > set up a "white board" at the front of the bus where the drop panel is for electronics. > set up a "go by" sheet and post up to explain the basic workings of the new stuff and how to hook up. > clean up the inside of the bus and possibly wash the outside > install the fans for T&S workers, seems we missed those. > check the hold down setup of the new steps in case of accident > install a simple pull handle on the doors where the steps are > fix/secure the rear door hinged lock > fix the large file cabinet so all drawers don't open at once. Also need to reorganize the file cabinets for 2011 events and clearly mark where everything is in regard to waivers, minor forms and what not. > go over all of the storage boxes in the trailer and make sure everything is where it should be > trash what we need to trash and replace as needed
and whatever else seems obvious to fix. I'm sure Chris will chime in here and add to the short list of what we need to address.
Thanks all!!!!
