I wanted to offer congratulations to the Heel of the Month winners to date for 2011. We don’t take this presentation lightly. Club members that are awarded this recognition are members that have gone above the call of duty in regard to helping the club run as smooth as it does. Just to note that club officers are not eligible for this monthly award. They are as follows:

Updated....

Jan: Richard Casto
Feb: Rob Harvey
Mar: Keith Strassel
Apr: Emmie and Carl Fisher
May: Dustin Fredrickson
June: Mike Whitney
July: Steve Blaylock
August: Kevin Allen

I do need to ask where the foot is! We need it back as it’s been absent from the last few meetings and past winners need the foot to upgrade and embellish. If you have the foot, please bring it to the meeting.

I will be bringing the HOM "foot" to the AutoX this weekend. If any of you winners who haven't "adorned" the foot yet, see me to pick it up.
Tks,
Don

If you've been awarded the HOTM and haven't yet had a chance to add your personalization to the foot, please post here. Everyone needs to decorate this for the HOTY.

It's currently sitting in the passenger seat of my car, and will be at the meeting tonight. The only decoration on it when I got it was a cone on one of the toes. I spray-painted it World Rally Blue and put several Subaru stickers on it, but there's still a little bit of space left for other stuff.

You should have glued a strip of corded star spec to it :).

Actually, what I did was ziptie some beads on from the Wilson rallyx, tied on a piece of tire cord from the Star Spec I killed at Sanford, and then added some self-vulcanizing tape and Gorilla tape from my VIR axle boot repair kit. I would've Gorilla-taped the whole axle boot to it, but I haven't replaced it yet.

Thanks to all involved with making me Heel of the Month for October. It is very much appreciated. It's been a very exciting and busy year full of hard work and new autocrossing adventures, and next year looks to be even more so. I love yous guys! :)
