i loved my roomy table

it seemed like a good place. i didnt order any food, but it seemed like they were constantly in and out and trying their hardest to please us.

im down for going there again. nothing seemed negative other than the amount of room, but that seems like it can be taken care of.

Uh... that's what she said?

I'm in for more chicken fingers and Ray's french fries.

I talked to the owners at Blincos and brought up the concerns of the small meeting room, but also stated that we wanted to have our August meeting there. He said they would adjust and be ready for us on the 10th.

See you there!

That sounds great, Rodney. I'm glad we've decided to support a business that is so willing and eager to support us. Thanks!

just a reminder the monthly meeting is tonight at Blinco's. Let's give this place one more go before we try another place.

OK, so we got to Blinco's last night around 6:15. The manager was asking if he'd set up enough tables. We decided to be on the safe side and add 2 more. As it turned out, we had more than enough chairs. The two rows of tables seemed to work out fine.

The food's pretty good, and the portions are large. I'm not a beer drinker, but those who are didn't seem to be struggling. I could talk to others on the other side of the table, and I could hear all of the reports. The manager was willing to do whatever it takes to make us happy. The waitress was competent and cheerful. So, my vote will be to remain there for awhile. Hope others agree.

I agree with all that....but wouldn't complain if the AC worked a little better.

Thanks, Stephen. I appreciated the  . I didn't really notice it being warm, or even if the overhead fan was on. But, I tend to be oblivious to stuff like that until it's extreme. On the bright side, it will be Fall soon, and keeping that room warm shouldn't be a problem.

I'm glad thing worked out well. I like the place. However I doubt the ac was having problems...the crowd in that room creates a lot of hot air wherever they go it seems ;).

+1 for Blinco's. I don't really have any complaints plus it's six miles from the bungalow.

im so used to being out in the extreme heat and dust of a rallycross... that i thought the fans felt pretty good there. anything below 75 or 80 is pretty good to me. habitat for humanity has to close whenever the temp inside gets over 103.
