I represented THSCC at the organizational meeting for NCAC before the banquet on March 6th. I know many of you have been following the electronic discussions about what the NCAC will be in 2004. We discussed several different options, and due to a variety of reasons, decided that the 2004 NCAC will be one large super 2-day event (instead of 4 individual ones), in the style of a regional and/or national event. Central Carolina Region-SCCA has tentatively agreed to host the 2004 event. The location and date have not been decided at this time, but every effort will be made to choose a date that does not conflict with other local, regional, or national events.

Soon after the 2004 event, an NCAC organizational meeting will be held to discuss plans for 2005. This meeting will be open to all interested parties. WE HAVE NOT MADE ANY DECISIONS ON THE NCAC BEYOND THE 2004 EVENT! The decision for 2005 will be based on the success (or failure) of 2004, and input from participants and interested parties.

While I welcome any comments about the 2004 and future NCAC events, please don't whine and moan to me. The decision has been made for 2004, and we are hopeful for a very successful event. I appreciate your past support of NCAC, and strongly encourage everyone to come to the 2004 event.
