Can someone PM me or reply here with the set-up schedule?

Kelly, Thomas and I will be at a Cub Scout campout friday night + most of Saturday, but you guys are welcome to set up either day.

The cows are cordoned off and should not be an issue.

Bret

Hi Bret,
I believe the plan is to setup Saturday afternoon. The chairs are working out some final details for getting the bus to Clayton.

If anyone in Durham (or close by) could help get the bus to BMW farm Saturday morning, that would count as you work assignment for the event.

I may be able to come set up on Saturday, depends on what time everyone's going out there. I'm still 2 hours away but I'm ready to RallyX again :)

an hour and 20 mins. to setup?

it took us most of the day when we were at OCS.

you might have to stay longer, unless you've got a big task force.

That's what the "~" is for :-) But yes, that's open ended obviously-- I just guessed at a time.

good deal.

i want to say it took us ~ 4 hours with a lunch break. but it was 4 of us I think. Then another hour or so on race day because of the rain and we had to mow.

Alright guys, everything should be in good shape for Saturday.

If you guys run into any problems or have any questions- feel free to call me and I'll do what I can to help.

919-219-3245 cell

Can't guarantee I'll have great cell coverage where we'll be on Saturday, but that's the best I can offer right now...

Please don't put the "THSCC RallyCross" signs up at the road until the morning of the event, and please don't leave them up any longer than necessary. I'm trying to avoid any unnecessary attention to the "race track ya'll are runnin' in the dirt out there"........

OH, and one kinda cool thing I was looking at. Bing.com has some pretty cool aerial images, including what they call "bird's eye" view.

Here's the RallyX field, not sure when it was taken, but it's VERY cool IMHO. Might help with track planning (??).

I don't know if I'll have cell coverage at the farm, but my cell is 919-619-0607.

Thanks for everything Bret!

Well we might be able to keep the locals from knowing whats going on, but the fed's and their spy satellites are going to be a bit tougher. 8)

Maybe we can start some interesting aerial views. Let's try to spell RallyX with our course.

Here's mine. The bus was parked there that day, too.

Thanks for the link, Bret.

Thanks for taking the pictures, Chris. I've got a nice Nikon D700 and some experience with action shots-- I'll have to try my hand the next time.

Does anyone want to claim the folding chair that's now sitting at the end of our driveway, next to the N&O paper box??

Just checking. If it sits out there too long, someone driving by will probably stop and pick it up- just FYI.

I'll be glad to hold it here at the house, or have it available for the rightful owner at the next RallyX.
