Sweet. I will extend the invitation to stock-ish vehicles in the 4x4 club.

Chris, can they email you with a pic of their vehicle/tires before the event for pre-approval? I'd hate for folks to have to make the drive and find out they can't run, if you could have told them ahead of time that their vehicle is too tall or something.

Email is fine.

Probably just a little. Bret may not let us come back if we run over his cattle with that.

come to some of our events.. they are very sandy.. now.. that said.. true lockable 4wd with lockers and big tires and huge lift. will experience less drive train wear than a subie. though i will say.. i have seen subies tackle terrain my old nissan would have said no way. subies can go alot of places.
i like trucks too alot! but i would want to let carl talk to them, before sending all the way down from maine, to be told they cant run.. that would be rude.
let carl or chris suich talk to them., to find out what type of rig they are bringing down to run. how about a 1997 2wd four door f250 turbo diesel with a 6 foot bed, also.... OPEN rear end. hahaah. only 215 hp, but 300+ lbs torque and only 1wd... its a highway rig, does not really need special stuff on pavement. this weekend.. I will be in penn. so a 6 hour ride in a diesel should help us decide whether to run it.. we may not be able to make the slaloms very well, but we could make some real cool noises trying to!
lots and lots of smoke too!
