I didn't think it was as good as 2008's race. I liked it how the course was more side-by-side in 2008, so you had more of a feeling of who was ahead. Or maybe I'm just remembering it wrong.

The 2009 course was cool, but it just seemed like there wasn't as much action as last year, and more damage to cars this year.

Sucks that Matt Johnson lost. I wonder if next year they'll let them have co-drivers again. The ride-along-commentators really didn't provide much info.

What's up with those Ford Fiestas? We can't get them in the US, right? Are they allowed in US rally racing, or just at the X Games?

i dont know how long the fords have been running but they seemed tons faster than anythign else in the straight aways. There was only like 2 even decent races in the races i seen yesterday.

How do you have that much time and not put your damn turbo pipe back on!!!!!! wtf!!!!

Definitely not as good as last year. IIRC none of the medals was won as a result of head-to-head competition- the winners (by bad luck) were always by DSQ or red flag. Richard, I'm with you about not liking the course as much either, but I'm really not complaining. I'm happy to see it there however they do it. Def bummed about MJ's bad fortune, tho. I missed the X-games, not having a TV, but do you know of a good place online to watch just the Rally part? I found individual races in YouTube, but couldn't piece together a sense of the competition.

although given the rapidity with which i go thru cars there's actually a reasonable chance that i'll have this in my garage within the next 12-18 months.
