doesnt the bus have to get to sanford before back to orange county for the 1st. Autox event in sanford 7-16

Well, we are one week away from the event and there are only 22 drivers preregistered.

Ash and I have discussed it and we are of the mindset to not go forward with this event.

I know it's frustrating to those who want to participate. We seem to have a diminishing group of people who regularly attend RallyX now. July 11th could just be a bad day for many people.

From a money perspective we can raise the event price to be $40 person. That would keep us at a break even for the club, I wonder how many participants we would loose at that price?

It also takes 30 people to efficiently ad safely run an event. Low 20's is just not a number we would like to run events.

The next scheduled event is Saturday August 1st at Orange County speedway.
Please preregister for that event if you are coming and encourage others you know who want to participate to prereg as well.

didnt last year we run at ocs with like 15 entrants. As a generally rule dont 2-3 folks just show up?????

I know I am lobbying real hard cuase i doubt I will be able ot make the august 1st event cause of it being a Saturday. I know my brother will come to watch and he will work the corse also.

If we have to up the price and if there are not going to be many drivers could we make this a non points event and do 8 or 10 runs each?
At the last four oaks event there were 38 drivers so 228 total runs. with 22 drivers we could do 10 runs and end at the same time.

The count is up to 25 entries now. Does that mean the event is definitely on?

(I'm trying to plan work that needs to be done this week to get the car ready if the event is on, or plan my Saturday schedule for something else if the event is off)

Since the pre-registration is down a couple of my buddies are not able to sign up... In addition to My father and I, I don't think Adam K pre-registered yet. He will be going... and I got two other drivers coming with us as well. 1 riding in SO4 and the other in NO4.

This event does not show up on the main calender. In order to register you need to go straight to RallyCross preregistration. Then the event appears.

I will have to miss the Aug. 1st event

so I really want to at least get this one taken care of.

It looks like a lot of us wanna do it.
