Friday will most likely be the setup day. Not sure yet what time Ray and I will be heading out there.

again, the issue here is the bus.

Anyone willing to at least take the bus back after the event? Getting it there isnt as big of a problem as getting it home.

Thanks

i get off work on fridays... at 4:30 pm. i could head up there after work, because i can program my GPS to tell the way.(man i love that thing)
saturday is race day and i have that off i think, i may even pre run the course in my car, seeing as how OCS does not rut up much like kevin's place. The Orange County Outlaws are ready to go i think. A little tinkering here and there and we are ready, even if it is muddy that day, mud is fun.

So it turns out that the smoky corolla actually has not yet died. It had been smoking extra because the 4 quarts of oil had been supplemented by one quart of gasoline, but after changing the black thin stuff in the oil pan it actually up and run quite well on all cylinders!

So I just may come out....

Chairs are just responsible for getting the bus to the event, correct?

I am not willing to drive the bus, but I am willing to give a ride to the person who does if needed.

Ash,
It's totally up to you guys, but the next event after the RX on 5/30 will be our AX in Danville. If you'd like to leave the bus at Pet's Companion Inn after the RX, it would be a shorter drive to Danville in June. Just a thought.

i just googlemapped the Inn.. it says about 9 miles from orange county speedway.

if thats is correct, that would save us tons of time and headaches.

Yes, that's probably about right. We're right on 501, about 6 miles south of the Rougemont traffic light. The bus has stayed there lots in the past several years, depending on where the next event is being held. Just let me know in advance so you can get the gate code.

Pete and I can move the bus to the Baake pet resort if you need assistance. That is pretty much on the way home for us and either of us can drive the rig.

All, sorry to throw a wrench into the works here, but I'm helping with the Street Survival school the following weekend in Sanford and we WILL need the bus for it.

So, is there any way y'all can get the bus back to the Apex area? Either Chris' or my house would be fine. Thanks!
