MINI MARCH MADNESS ROAD RALLY

Saturday, March 21st

10:00am

Upper Parking Deck- Cameron Village, Raleigh at the corner of Oberlin Rd. and Clark Ave.

$25 per team/car

Crews of 2 to 4 pile into Mini Coopers and navigate, solve puzzles and find clues in a time (not speed) intensive race around the Triangle. The objective is to spend 4 hours driving around the Triangle navigating off of these clues and a predetermined list of adventures with a lunch break in the middle. We’ll have a celebration at the end with Prizes and Merriment. No precision work or intense competition needed just a fun and unique experience that will both be a creative endeavor and build team spirit.

What to expect? Checkpoints, crazy routes, visual clues, digital bonus points opportunities, trivia, mysteries, use of general knowledge of the Triangle area and once again in the tradition of the past MinCoop R3... Mission Impossibles! Bring a cellphone, maps, gps and a laptop if you want to ake full advantage of todays technology, but you may or may not need any of it.

For those of you that completed the MinCoop R3 in Raleigh in the past, this rally is a new format with more excitement. We hope new and old Mini Enthusiasts/Teams will come out to take part in wild family friendly and adventure loving event.

MINI MARCH MADNESS ROAD RALLY

Register on-site the day of the event only.

$25 bucks cash per team/car to enter.

1 winning Mini Team splits 1/2 pot with *organizers minus expenses.

Other 1/2 of the pot will support Team Sleepless Knights this summer in the Mongol Rally, UK to Mongolia in a 1 liter car.

A coveted trophy signed by all the teams will be awarded to the team that wins.

The more that enter the more to win so tell your Mini friends. Print out a copy of this info and stick it under the wiper of every Mini Cooper you see. Invite your clubs. Post it on work message boards. Get the word out.

This event will not be sponsored by any individual, company or organization.
Mature drivers with license and insurance only.
Speeding, stealing, vandalism, or any and all disruptive behavior is prohibited and all Crews will be asked to sign a fair play oath and waiver of liability to begin this event.
Prizes may be donated by companies but this does not constitute the donor being an agent of any activities or outcomes of those who voluntarily choose to participate in the Mini March Madness Road Rally.
