Chris, man up and let's take the F-it.

Yeah if the 'rolla hadn't burned up all its rings you and me and jackie could take it.

So hey you wanna split buying that audi quattro coupe with me?

Guys, please don't ruin that car. It's a little too rare for all that jumping over things, radiator core bending stuff...

Yeah but come on it comes from the factory with an ABS disable switch and a push-button lockable/unlockable rear diff? That has rally written all over it.

Don't worry, all of the unnecessary parts I'd uninstall I would do so carefully (unlike the 'rolla, which you know was full of water when we started gutting it) before I sold them on ebay. Would take forever to find a buyer but somebody out there is hurting for some of these parts.

I'd also be very interested in a test-n-tune.

Pretty easy. You volunteer to chair the event, or you volunteer to help with setup. Instant Test & Tune.

Exactly. We've had event chairs burn up a full set of tires on Autocross setup days - "tuning the course".

I think that will be discussed at tonight's Club meeting.
We'll post as soon as we know something.

I hate to be the first to bring this question up...

Under what conditions will this event be canceled due to the ground being too saturated with water? 2" in the prior 48hr? 1" in the prior 24 hr?

One of the last events I went to at OCS (yeah, it's been over a year) was canceled before I pulled the car off the trailer. Weekend time is too precious to take a chance for me these days.

It's happened before, I'd just like to know what the party line is on this before I cancel outright and make family commitments.

Charlie Guthrie, Event Chair, will size up the situation on Saturday at the site and current forecast. We make a decision then and post here and send an email to all preregistrants.

The VP's and Event Chairs have decided to cancel the event. I'm sure some of you are as disappointed as we are and some are relieved that they don't have to stand out in the cold rain.

The fact is the site has already had more rain than last year's event weekend and that was a slop fest. So we decided to cancel.

See you next time
