Well... you can't please all the people all the time. Nor does it seem I can please 25% of the people any of the time. Unfortunately there just wasn't enough response to justify holding a formal event in the next few weeks.
Our next scheduled event is now Sunday Sept 28 2008 at Orange County Speedway. This is a change from the beginning from the original calendar posted earlier this year. I am reconfirming the availability of OCS.
Charlie Monroe had a suggestion... Since we didn't have enough people to run an event, we could do something creative like a test-n-tune. Setup the timer, let people run one driver on course at a time like we have done recently for fun runs. Cones would be an issue. We would still need to charge a usual event fee to cover insurance, but the site owner would need to cut us a deal for the use of the land so the club doesn't loose money.
Anyway... that's where we stand at this point.
