Too bad for those who missed it today. It was a fun event, and beautiful weather. It started off a bit nippy in the morning, especially with the breeze, but it warmed up nicely. Thanks to walk-ups, we ended up with 37 drivers. Thanks also to Christine for making tasty subs and offering up Halloween candy! :-9

Chris' trebuchet (is that technically a trebuchet or a catabult?) was a real crowd-pleaser, and I got a good shot on video that I'll try to post later this evening.

Also, results are up. Enjoy!

Bob Wall showed up to the event?!? Wow, I am disappointed that I missed that. :(

Interesting numbers by the SO4 crowd. Looks like some of them are slipping. :? Lots of new names on there though. :D

Yeah, unfortunately he had to leave at noon and had to forfeit all his afternoon runs. He was running on STI street tires- I asked him where his rally tires were and he said "that damn Matthew Johnson's got them all!" :-)

It was quite funny listening to his story about how he let Mathew take the STi to a rally in Maine and how it was scary watching the in car video after the event. 110 mph in sixth gear through 5+ corners driving with two wheels in the ditch.

i have only had the privilege of working a rallyX station with Mathew, but i am pretty sure that f***er is nuts. doesn't really suprise me he drives the way he does.

if ya'll promise to keep all the damn cones on the trailer next time there is a rallyX........................... oh, never mind. i quit because i can't drive worth a damn.

Yep, I got a ride in the rally car. He really tosses it around well - it would be nice to see him on rally tires. He offered to let me drive it, but the seat was bolted down and was too far back for me to be fully in control, so I'm going to drive it when he can stick around a while. :D

Thanks everybody for coming out to play. We had a great time.

Thanks to Dustin for making things interesting. You had to drive like a crazy person to run the times we were running in the afternoon. That was fun!

I apologize to everyone that I made run, and I think that was probably everyone! I did have a blast taking out all those cones. Think I was trying to drive like I was at an autox. Anyway Thanks to everyone I had a blast!

Thanks to everybody!! You guys really put on a good event. Thanks for Kevin
and Mom, for the track. Thanks for Kevin for looking at / test driving
my car after the event. He really made it better and is a walking/talking
RS encyclopedia! We left and made the drive to Summit Point and the car
ran/ drove great! Lots of seat time!!!! Probably going again next season for a

Yeah, anybody with an RS who wants to get the secret performance tweaks, just let me know. It was fun playing with your car, Robert. If you want to bring it back for more playtime, or have any questions, feel free to ask.

Wow. Holy crap, I just looked at the results from Summit Point. Your RS did do well, didn't it, Reid?

FTD Overall for Will Dickens! Beat Colin Bombara by 7 seconds. Not bad at all.
