Just doing a last minute inspection of the car before Rally New York and we discover this damage to the underbody protection halfway between the front and rear wheels on the passenger side...

Looking behind the passenger seat we find this...

The cell phone was added to show the scale of the hole. We must have hit a pretty big rock out there. Nothing a hammer and some duct tape can't fix for now.

Check with NASA on this. I hear they have problems with holes in the undersides of their vehicles too, and they've developed a repair kit.

I'm not sure I could afford the kit OR the microgravity environment required for the proper application.
