We recounted yours and Chris's. There was 1 small error on Leg 6; you were originally scored a 32 but it should have been a 38. Y'all still finished 7th.

Thanks for the hard work! Was it so close that 6 points moved us down  - I should've *really* held up that Miata

We saw the same thing on our score sheet also for leg 5. (showed a 2xx when it should have been more than that according to the figures on the score card.) I figured that there was something with the rest stop that they factored in. I didn't question because others know WAY more than me when it comes to scoring a rallye.

Hmm, 6th huh? Well that's not so bad. :D

As for the extra time giving us a max penalty, I'm not sure how that could have happened. Like Bernie said, we were within sight of them at every single stop. Whether we were in front of them or behind them. So if we were almost 11 minutes late on one leg, then you and Emmie, Chuck and Ash, and Bernie and Gwen would also have had the same lag as we saw all of you at each stop. :? Oh well, I'm confused, but had fun!!!! :D

Any extra dash plaques? I only picked up one at the drivers meeting cause I wasn't sure if there were enough to go around, then forgot to ask before we left.

We're looking into some of these with Carl. Leg 5 would have been the first leg after the break. We've already ascertained that I screwed up and incorrectly assigned you start times for leg 5 when the start time should have actually been entered by you as you started the second section, and that start time should have been 3:20 + your car number (I can't recall what car # you were, but it should be very easy for Carl to figure out what the correct start time should have been). I let Bowie know about this on the course and I believe he fixed most of the start times on the score sheets, but it's possible he missed one or two, and maybe your score card incorrectly read the start time that I wrote for leg 5 which WOULD make you incredibly late to checkpoint 5, but only on paper. But even if we didn't correct the score card itself, we did hopefully apply the proper start time when calculating the score for the leg. So this could account for the discrepancy that Carl is seeing, but as I said, we are continuing to look at the errors that Carl has found.

OK yes, I did not look at Cosby's Leg 5 restart time- the sheet says 3:04, but for their car (#3) it should have been 3:23. The finish time for that leg was then 3:37.42, for a net time of 14.42. Correct time was 12.83, so that makes the diff 1:59 or 159 points as originally scored. Congrats Coz, you're back in 6th! :D

Yes, there were 4 dash plaques left over. I will bring them to the meeting next week for whomever needs another one.

Thanks Carl & Lance, for straightening out the scores.

Carl:

Car 18 was Eric Adams & "Buncha Ballast" (that's what is on the pre-reg form).

Car 20 was William Gravely and Benjamine Hines.

Yeah Ben and I had a blast....sitting on the side of the road for the last three legs.

But when the car was working it sure was fun!

Time to top off the car with some water wetter....
