So after watching/listening to me, Adam & Mike, it appears the biggest difference is the throttle position. Mine is steady & wide open most of the course, and while Adam is running very good lines from what I saw, he's coasting a lot. Mike appears to be slightly out of control most of the course, and is on/off the throttle most of the time, probably because he's too out of control to go to wot. Also, the downshifting to 1st for every turnaround is totally not necessary. Much easier to hit the braking marker & get on the right line if you're not downshifting at the same time, and there's enough torque to pull through & out just fine.

So Adam - keep doing what you're doing, but add a lot more wide open throttle.

Great pics!

Love the videos too, but shouldn't you be taking better care of the Rallycross VP and anyone sharing the same car  ?

J/K - Hope you take it as a compliment that everyone is so anxious to see your work :D

I think you're missing one thing -- the difference in the way that you and I induce rotation -- I use the throttle and you use the brakes. We talked about this at the last event and I started trying it on my last few runs. Definitely makes things a little calmer in the car.

So wht you're hearing is a lot of on/off switch throttle to get the car to turn.

After watching all these Subaru videos, it's pretty obvious that my current suspension setup is just about as good as it gets for rallyx. If you're interested, watch how my car glides over the big bumps (most notably the blind jump in the AM and the right over crest before the finish in the PM) while Whitney's, Cosby's, Dustin's, Adam's - and pretty much all the non-Subarus, too - are bouncing around. It did hit the bumpstops in a couple of places on the afternoon course, but seeing it from outside the car, it doesn't look nearly as bad as it felt, or as bad as what's going on with the other cars.

Thank you very much for providing these videos, Ash.

CN: 2000 Impreza 2.5RS + STi struts and 07 WRX springs FTW! :D

8) Thanks to all of you for providing such interesting subject matter to shoot!

I still have several more videos in the works, and I apologize to those who are still waiting for vids. I hope to crank out about 7 more driver videos before I call it a wrap and start working on the highlight video. On the menu, in no particular order, are:

Team Monroe-Shillock
Team Bovine Beater
Jan Kokoszka
Sebastian Kokoszka
Brad Morris & Family
Team Dirtmaster
Chuck Nelson

Those not on the driver video list will certainly be in the highlight video.

Stay tuned! :D
