Those who were at today's RallyX at the BMW farm may know that I handed out a few DVD's of the Rides of March RallyX. I wanted to make more, but ran out of blank DVD's (and time). If anyone wants a copy please pm me or drop me an e-mail at ashleighnelson@earthlink.net with your address and I will shoot one out to you.

I will be putting together a DVD of the "Momma won't let anyone dirty get through RallyX", and if anyone wants to collaborate (meaning send me their video footage and/or pics) I willl be happy to incorporate that too. Thanks to David Urriola and Phillip Rodriguez for their help today getting extra video footage! :D

I popped in the DVD Ash gave me and was expecting to see a few runs of the General. I was amazed as was a full production of the event. Menus were added to select different drivers and classes as well as a results page! WOW! Great job Ash!

I can't imagine the time it took to put this together, not to mention standing in the middle of a dust cloud all day to get the footage.

Thanks again Ash, I was very impressed!

PS. Ash must not like my driving. There was like
15 seconds of me and the rest was my other
three amigos. I did suck that day so maybe
that was it.

:D Aw shucks, it was nuthin'! I'm glad ya liked it :D

I was very excited about this project as it is really my first foray into video production and my very first attempt at authoring a DVD. I am planning more cool stuff for the next one 8)

As for your clips, I thought it would be best to edit out the ones where people were laughing, so I only had a few clips I could use... Naaaah, I just need more videographers! I tried to dedicate myself to capturing a drivers' whole run, and with two cars on course that means I skip about every other car. With more volunteers to capture video, (people who are not working a station, of course) I could really get some footage! I have 4 video cameras and 3 still picture cameras, so all I really need are volunteers... :)

Thanks for the great DVD, Ash. We finally got the time to watch it tonight and you did a fantastic job.

The menu designs and the organization of the footage is great. I'm sure it took a huge amount of time and a lot of talent to put this together.

Thank you.

Charlie

Holy Moly - that was fun! You did such a superb job of organizing and putting that together - you truly deserved to be "heel of the month" (although truthfully the word "heel" just leaves a bad taste in my mouth - go pack!)

Seriously, thanks so much for putting that together - I know how much time & effort went into making that (not to mention the $$ of the dvds!) , and it's greatly appreciated.

I guess I'm happy you don't want to drive in Rally so you can keep taking cool videos of the rest of us! :car:

Thanks again - many kudos -

Mo

I really appreciate the DVD. Now my family knows what rallycross is! I just loved the titles and stills at the end. You have talent and I know it took you a long time to put together such a nice production.

Bernie and I want to be called, "Old Dog Racing" for obvious reasons!

Could you add the theme to "Dog the Bounty Hunter" to our intro?

I think you should charge us for these. I'd be willing to pay.

Thanks! :D

I will try to "hunt down" that theme song and incorporate it in your future videos :D And I'll change your title to 'Old Dog Racing' instead of 'Team Dog'. For that matter, if anyone would like their "team" titles to be something different from what I put on the DVD, please let me know. This effort is all about you guys, so I don't want to call ya what ya don't want to be called, if you know what I mean

Several people have asked to pay for these DVD's, but I would rather not take money. If anyone would like to donate writeable DVD+R discs and or cases, I will gladly accept those for use in future production. I don't want it to look like I am trying to make money off this, I just enjoy it. 8)

Cool! Ozzie Osbourne sings it. Don't do it if it is a lot of trouble.
I'll give some thought to theme songs for other cars. The General should be easy.
I'll make a donation.

No trouble at all...I have already downloaded that one and some others that I might use.

Thanks for the suggestions! Keep 'em coming if you think of something else! 8) 8) 8)
