OK, I finally got in touch with Kim and got answers to some questions that've I've been accumulating for a while now:
  • Camping will be allowed onsite both Friday and Saturday nights for those who're interested. At the minimum there will be the PJs there, but we will probably have access to the bathrooms too, including use of a shower "in the pit area" (I assume it's inside :-) )
  • The food trailer will be ther both days. I think that will include breakfast/coffee availability in the morning, but I forgot to ask. Will update with that info when I get it.
  • There will be a safe (lockable) area where cars can be left Saturday night for those who are leaving them there.
I still haven't gotten around to looking into the hotel situation in the area. We probably won't have enough people to warrant booking a block of rooms, but I can at least provide info on what's available.

What else am I forgetting?

Here's a link to some hotel options in the area, for those not interested in camping. I noticed the Google links for the hotels had a "call" link where you can apparently make free calls! Sounded simple enough, if anyone tries it let me know how it worked.

OK, got another update:
  • The food cart will be there around 8am both days. This is not the same lady she usually uses, so she didn't know what would be available in terms of breakfast food, but there would definitely at least be coffee. I assume lunch options will be the "normal stuff".
  • The track bathrooms will be available to campers, as will the showers which are down in the track's pit area. I'll be picking up the key when Chuck and I are setting up Friday afternoon/eve. It would be nice if someone who was planning to camp could get there before we leave so I can hand the key off.
  • As far as camping goes, she said anywhere would be fine. Y'all could camp at the back of our pit area, in the semi-wooded area between there and the track, or in the field where spectator parking was last time.

Another option she mentioned would be to camp in the track's infield. This would have the advantage of being much closer to the bathrooms and showers, plus if you were locking your car up overnight you'd be close to it too. I would assume (though I don't know) that it might also be a little more secure from wandering spectators than if y'all's tents and stuff were just sitting alone out in the field somewhere.

If anyone thinks they'll be camping Friday night and could get there kind of early, please drop me an email or PM so we can coordinate the key drop.

Thanks!
