Kevin's STi suspension idea works and works well. It's pretty amazing how much more controlled the car is over bumps. I think Kevin's suspension with some alignment changes and no bars would be the ultimate budget rallyx suspension.

I would like to say that the STi suspension absolutely SUCKS ASS on the street on my OBS. If a stock STi rides anywhere near that bad I'll never own one.

I agree, it is nice for rallycross to have all that compression damping. Little if any bottoming out now :)

The Forester STi suspension lowers the Forester about an inch. Barely noticeable. The Impreza STi suspension on a Forester lowers it about 2.5 inches. That's what's on ours. We'll be going back to stock before Sandblast Rally, though.

Mike, the 2.5RS ride is a lot worse than the STi, with the same suspension. Heavier car is probably the difference (400 lbs).

And to Kevin Hoff - it's ALREADY the ultimate rallyx suspension, no changes needed. Or haven't you noticed?

Here's the complete setup with additional info...
