For those of you who don't frequent other club's forums much, here's an example of what I bombard them with before every rallycross event...

Quote:
Hey y'all,

Just a reminder that THSCC's second rallycross of the season is scheduled for this Saturday, March 25th, in Four Oaks, NC. For those of you who've never been there before, it's a great site, big and flat, with no rocks and nothing to hit. We run a good event- organized and efficient, but also very easygoing and friendly. We always give you 6 runs, and have official, audited results, plus handsome trophy plaques, at the end of the day. Our rallycross program is starting to build momentum now, so I hope you'll come on out and see why for yourself!

For those of you with rally cars, we offer cheap seat time and a chance to do some shakedown before your next event. Bring your rally tires- we have a place for you to play now, in our NU2, NO2, and NO4 classes. Our club "Pro", Kevin Allen, thinks he's pretty hot stuff in NO4 in his Subaru 2.5RS, and results seem to bear him out. Can you wipe that smug grin off his face? Kevin says "Bring It!"

Event registration is open and filling up nicely, but we'll save room for you. :) Go and sign up online at

http://thscc.com/rallycross/prereg_rallyx.html

It's quick and easy!

Event info, including times, prices, and directions, can be found at

http://thscc.com/rallycross/events/2006 ... 5info.html

Hope to see you there!
Carl

If any of y'all have ideas for some good forum that I'm not hitting, please let me know!

Thanks!

Well we just finished the bulk of setup this evening. The courses look fun and fast. Now if we get just a touch of rain to keep the dust down it'll be perfect.

Chris and I need some volunteers for a few key roles. If anyone is interested in doing the following roles let us know:

--Worker coordinator for SU2 (needs to be in any other class)
--Worker coordinator for non-SU2 (needs to be in SU2)

--Timing for group 2 (needs to be in SU2)

See you all there!

--Kevin Hoff and Chris Suich, co-event chairs

Hey, I'll be there all day (with a small outing at lunch to pick up a friend) but I won't be running. If you want, I can handle one of the outside jobs that way I don't leave him by his lonesome all day.

I can handle the worker coordinator for SU2, if you need someone still.

Cosby and Keith then for worker coordinators - Keith for SU2/NU2 (the most likely pairing) and Cosby for the rest.

Thanks y'all!
