I dont need to dig results up do I?

You have owned us lately.

Ryan, I have to say I'm encouraged that you still think there's hope of beating me. That means I'm doing my job right. :D

FYI, Vincent, the Pasture Prime Neon dynoed at 120whp a couple weeks ago. As Jeff(?) said, "it's the most powerful rallycross car I've seen." I didn't have the heart to tell him it's my daily driver, too.

Im coming out to the next one. Bring your "A" game, I got 59 hp from hell waiting for your 140 hp of death.

Charlie and I are in planning for 06 with the Dirtmaster. We just need to know where the rules are going before we commit.

Ohhhh, where the hell does one buy USED rally tires?

Speaking of which, I need to have discussions with the Rally beater owners to see who has a piece that they are selling and find out what goes along with the sale. I remember Ryan mentioning that the Dirtmaster has a couple of inactive owners who might be willing to part ways. Any of them currently reading the thread?

What size rally tires do you want, and how mad do you want to make Anders? :)

I have a couple of leads if you want rally tires, and there is a Canadian rally team selling rally tires. I can also post A BUNCH of web sites with used tires. If you have 15" rims, you are golden. Else, good luck.

Mike Whitney, Ron Spencer, Shawn Whipple and Adam Ligon are all inactive Dirtmaster owners. Please contact one of them, Charlie and I would love some help beating those Fleaons, Sentras and some old ass General!

I thought you were considered inactive after missing 3 consecutive events? ;)

71whp vs. 120whp isn't exactly a fair fight. FYI Ryna, the Dirtmaster wasn't running right when it was dynoed at 59. I'll bet the price of getting it dynoed again that it now exceeds our 71whp.

What kind of lame-ass talk is that? Of course it's a fair fight- we're both entered in cars legal for the class. I wasn't the who decided you would buy a piece of crap! :-) You are entirely free to do something about it during the off-season (besides whining, that is)! ;-)

OK, I've been thinking again. (yes, it's dangerous  ) I think it would be a good idea for THSCC to move towards the SCCA rallyx ruleset but with significant changes. Here's my stab:

http://khoff.drbiggly.com/image/rallyx_rules.doc

Basically I took what they posted, took it down to 5 classes with two street tire and 3 rally tire or highly modified street tire. I also moved around and (IMO) rationalized some of their allowed mods. What do you all think?

That looks simple and inclusive. I would like to see consideration placed to separating the rwd and fwd cars in the street tire classes. I thnk this becomes less of an issue when rally tires are used.

Why must we try to be like the SCCA? How many SCCA members show up for THSCC events? How many THSCC members do SCCA rallyx? How many SCCA members know what the hell a Rallyx is?

No matter which of these rule structures we adopt, if any, we will still have only 2 well subscribed classes (4WD & 2WD Street tire) and the rest will be sparsely populated, IMHO.

It just seems funny to bust 40 people up into 5-7 different classes.

Lets do what works for THSCC and lets let the fathers of the THSCC rallyx program do their thing.
