I think I'm actually able to make it to this one. Who else is going to head up that way?

Let me know if you are. I'm suppose to be in Wrightsville that weekend as well, but will be leaving Sat night to head up to VA. I don't think that I want to drive the 6 hours that it looks like it will take to get there on Sunday morn from the beach. I don't even want to drive the 4 or so hours from the house on that morning. So I will be staying up there somewhere so it's not so bad in the morning.

We've had pretty good luck finding cheap hotel rooms at (I think) Exit 130 in Fredericksburg. From there it's about 20 minutes to the site.

There are a bunch of hotels at this exit, and you can usually find rooms from $45-60 in either those Interstate Traveler rags or online at www.roomsaver.com or www.travelcoupons.com.
