I got it from Dale Teague of "2002 Boxer4Racing WRX" fame  when we were on vacation last week. he had gotten it from the guys that make them so he could test fit it on his 2.2L Impreza and maybe start selling them, but it didn't fit over his headers. So it was just leaning up against a parts shelf. I jokingly offered him twenty bucks for it, and he said ok.

Yay, now I can really go fast!

Simon, Kevin's diaper is more like Huggies or Pampers. I think being 50 and all you'll need Depends!

Before you take it out in the field and smash the heck out of it. Maybe you should measure it up and make a template. Since the guy isn't going to sell it as a product. Maybe all you Subbie boys can make yourselves one. Just looks like a peice of sheet metal to me with a couple of crimps.

Actually, they do sell them - just not through www.boxer4racing.com :P

There are a few different companies that make & sell skidplates for Imprezas - must be something to do with all those rally cars flying around those gravel roads? :P

Also, I'm not getting the diaper comments... could somebody please explain that one? :?

Nice. :)

What thickness is it? 2/16ths or 3/16ths?

I took the rear "sub-sub-frame" piece off and welded extra nuts in.

Cheers,
Anders

Explain this. :?

Are you talking about the little jacking plate underneath the engine that the front skidplate bolts to, or are you talking about the rear subframe, which the rear suspension & diff mount to?
