With a '15 STi, you shouldn't worry about brake fluid unless you plan to put it on track. For rallycross/autocross, you'll never boil the stock fluid. For pads, I actually liked the stock pads on my '10 STi, but if you want something with more initial bit, the Ferodo DS2500's seem to be a very good pad for autocross. I'm not sure they make them for your application, but I would run a search to see. - AB

For autox, some research is in order. For rallyx, anything that can slow the car will do. You'll end up locking the wheels and sliding most of the time. At some point you'll learn where that moving-line is. (in track terms: threshold braking) On dirt, however, it's hard to gauge. (the abs computer is doing that for you at the moment.)

In Charles' STI, I put it into a slide and manage it. It's not the fastest way around, but I get so little time in the car I have no "feel" for it. Drew's VR6, I can make that thing dance -- I don't drive it as fast as Drew because it's not mine, no cage, and no harness. The Duff "Clown Car"... from start to finish, foot's on the floor.
