Worked like crazy today on our Escort EXP, checking brakes, shocks, etc. We are registered and plan to be there but have lots of stuff to do with the new car. And we're new at this too and are still learning the terminology. Charlie Guthrie schooled us what is a sipe, can't say I've ever heard of that term. Our main objective is to have fun so I'm sure we'll do that.

Cool.We cna hang at hte rally cross, look for a blue golf mk4.We have been working on sealing the interior,it fills with water somehow. The cat has enjoyed being in the car, we have the doors open To air out the interior for now.It runs good, handles like a golf, which is good.It is a fun car.
Lets hang. The banking is crazy steep, faster than you think.

I watched some youtube vids of the fayetteville race in May 2014, a Subaru WRX. The banking does look fun and the course seemed pretty fast to me. Not sure our car will go fast enough in 2nd gear but 3rd will probably be like throwing out the anchor. My experience with clay banked tracks goes back further than I want to think about when I raced motorcycles on dirt tracks in the Southeast. Probably not much of that experience transfers except I do know how to get red clay out of my eyes and clothes.

Any rallycross folks likely to be at the club meeting tomorrow at Randy's?

At least 2 rally-x drivers will be there (Southwest Air willing).

I will most likely be there, gotta give the foot to Ricky.Look for the familiar blue wrx with mud flaps, its usually found in mud somewhere!
My father is in ohio on business, but will be back sometime tomorrow. Then we will go in my car.Which is hte car we usually take,it can park really anywhere.
What car u in man? you racing the ford, our golf got to 3rd.But we are geared really low, and vw does not make real high rpm engines really.Ours is single cam 8 valve four,so no real high rpm for us .Great torque though,vw trademark i am finding out.My wrx is all rpm and boost,no torque! The vw could not be more different.I may a bit zapped early in the morning that day, i am going to a NHRDA drag event on 26th.Gets over around 5 or 6, but long drive back.Long day hanging out at drag strip then a rally cross.I am gonna be tired! A picture of our golf, is posted on my and Mike Czeiszberger facebook page. Not much too look at in our out,but it goes really well,Not a rocket, but it is very nimble. We oughta fit right in with teh ford, actually be roughly similar competition.

Check out Pitch Woolfolk and his old school bug.Ive driven it at wilson, deceptively quick for a beetle.
