For those who have used snow tires at my house/ BMW Farm rallyxes...

What brand/model did you use?
What size?
How stiff (or unstiff) was the sidewall?
How often did you debead them?
How long did they last/ did you see any wear at all, if only rallyxing on them?
How were they when it was muddy vs. when it was dry?

Thanks.

I dont remember seeing a whole lot of wear on the toyota, when rallying it. We rallyed the hell out of that car, yes we debeaded tires, we were learning how to avoid ruts. SO in that sense we had lots of problems. The vw wheels we were running on the car, made rebeading tires a nightmare, that said they were tough.Dirt like at your place and Bret shoudl not wear tires that much I would not think. Not like Wilson with the coarse gravel, that can chew tires up.
Fayetteville should be another joint that is easy on tires. I think we ended up running Dunlop sp60 tires on the toyota and certainly my nissan.I have like potenza tires on my wrx, I think they wear alot on gravel, but on dirt like your place, or fayetteville, I shouldnt think they would wear that much.,Again, the wrx weighs a good bit more than the rally subie.
