Who am I kidding? I'll probably spill the beans when I go looking for parts before too long.

Entries are down since years past, and it seems interest is also declining.

I've heard a couple of autocross/track people mention casually that they would like to try rallycross but they don't have a car. Maybe we need to let people know that Wilson is flat enough that a rally car is not required?

3. charge $40 ... 30 for prepay'ers... we need more money, we lost money at every event but 1 this year.

I have no issue with $40, but maybe a hefty discount for first-timers? $20 for walk-up, $15 for prepay, or something like that?

This is the future of rallycross:

(for FTD overall, anyway)

I would like to see the 2wd car that could beat that. And then I'd like to drive it.

And an R5 turbo has what to do with rallycross? Nothing.

Aw George....play nice. And the R5 turbo maxi was in fact a Group B rally car; and we rally cross junkies aspire to the highest levels of competition.
Watch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wUwgyUYneFk About 1/2 way through the asphalt stages turn to dirt.

As someone that's done one rally-x and had a hell of a time, I agree. Wilson's flat and if Kourosh can run his R (there's hardly any clearance under the fron lip on those) out there and Les can run the Cobra, more cars can run as well.

Honestly, I think a program needs to be setup offering co-drives if the co-driver is willing to pay the car owner's entry fee perhaps? Of course the 'you break it, you buy it' rule is in effect. Just an idea...

if we have a rallycross in snow, it can be monte carlo.the little renault was a pushrod motor, 1.4l turbo 4. 2wd car with almost 300 hp. im still a quattro guy, but the little renault was a giant killer!it competed in snow too, at monte carlo and others. Great traction with the MR layout.

I'd be willing to let somebody co-drive my car, provided I could drive their car at an autocross :D
