Our story is now available for your reading (and viewing) pleasure on our team website. The direct link to the story is http://usukracing.com/USUK_Racing/Events/Entries/2012/3/8_WRC_Rally_Guanajuato_Mexico_2012.html - Feel free to share it with others.

So much went into the preparation and running of the event that my story ended up being over 5,000 words long. Plus there are quite a few pictures and links to our in-car video. I hope you enjoy our story - let us know what you think!

Simon

Great writeup Simon...and pretty good driving as well. Those sheer drop offs are one of the things that has kept me from the Chimney Rock Hill Climb back when I had a semi-competitive autocross car. Driving the twisties and focusing only on the "where you want to go" and ignoring the "where you don't want to go" is just a bit too much for the easily distracted.
Congratulations and welcome back to you and the crew.

Simon, I read the write-up on your site the other day when you posted this. It sounded like quite the adventure! Some feedback on your website. The grey text on white background is very hard to read.

Thanks, Richard. You are right. Time to move on from the provided template. Will address it in next update.

Simon,
What a great story and well written.
You guys are brave!

I remember a comment from you a few months ago (when you came by my house to drop off cones) about the Rally Course being shortened and you questioned whether is would be as "fun". Well, I would guess from your story that you are very content with the length of the Rally.

Glad you guys are home safe.
