hello to another year of rallyXing.

If you were not at the christmas party, then you missed the elections. The full board can be read at The club discussion section.

I was re-elected for VP. And Ray Metts was elected as VP as well.

Hopefully we can have another good year of rally. And we should have the new schedule around the new year.

There will be some new rules and regulations that Charlie and I spoke about last year that we would like to implement for this year. Mainly working the course and duties during a race. but all of that will be spelled out in a bit.

IF anyone here has any suggestions, please post here/PM/or email us (rally@thscc.com). if you dont get a reply from the email then it must be because the emails have not been set yet.

I would like to thank Charlie Guthrie for his time last season as VP. I definitely learned a lot from him and i hope i can keep that going. And I will most definitely be emailing him for advice again

we would like to start the season off on a good foot. we really would like an increase in attendance and will most likely keep the admission price the same.

We only have 2 locations this year. So if you have any leads on some land that can be used, please let us know so we can hopefully have a few more spots to run.

so here's to another year of getting dirty.

Thanks

Many thanks to our two new VPs for volunteering their time and energy so the rest of us can have fun.

I will suggest that if there's a potential lead somewhere, that it be brought to the attention of the VP's. Unless there's already a personal connection, we should let the site search coordinator (somebody who has the THSCC "sales pitch") do the 'talking'....

Mi padre said you could have run of about 120 acres at his farm.

Albeit a bit of a tow to PA..... :(

In all seriousness I will find out if any of my contacts in/around wayne county possibly could pan out.

NCCAR have any interest in an 'off-road dynamics test area' or some such beast?

My instructor from the first HPDE this year is on the board of directors of NCCAR. He wasn't opposed to rallyx here, but said he thought it best to get the track rentals sorted out first. Maybe its time to contact him again?
