That's what they do all over europe. Eurocross, or something like that.

There was a thread about it in here a while ago, I think one of the requirements was a certain amount of distance in the air. Lol. I don't remember which series it was though.

It's about to come on ESPN if anyone's got cable. (at my in- laws this weekend, with ESPN HD)

The X Games Rallycross was some serious weak sauce. :( The course was basically an oval with a jump in it. The Euro stuff I have seen is tight in spots and fast in others, makes rights and lefts and also changes surfaces, exactly like the video on the Rally America site.

The courses were terrible and the television even more so-- you had to watch hours of commercials for 20 minutes of content.

This struck my eye, though. The rallycross winner created a full size course in his yard to practice :-)
