It looks like fun, but I have no idea if my car would make it the 5.5 hours one way. :-(

Yes, this event is being run by the DC club. The venue is listed as Summit Point Motorsports Park, Summit Point, WV.

http://www.scca.com/contentpage.aspx?content=47

Google maps says 5.5 hours one-way:

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source= ... eiszperger)&daddr=Summit+Point+Motorsports+Park&geocode=FZ-KIwId4oZJ-yn_5EeercOsiTHMk1Xu6X43jg%3BFYO0VgIdNjZa-yEEpJaADTkj1w&gl=us&hl=en&mra=pe&mrcr=0&sll=37.448697,-78.519287&sspn=6.321771,9.766846&ie=UTF8&ll=37.570705,-78.233643&spn=6.311466,9.766846&t=h&z=7

There would be two days of rallycross so it might be worth the drive if the weather doesn't get hot and remind me the air conditioning isn't working in my car.

Whoops, just noticed this DC club weekend is the same as the THSCC school/rally weekend. There goes my chances of going to two rallycross events in one month :-(
