So the ABS works, just the light is on? Usually that is not the case. - AB

well, i don't know if the ABS works or not to be honest, but normal braking works just fine.

That's what Jason is referring to. You get the light to go off, but the ABS doesn't work and you know this, could equal a legal issue. - AB

oh i see what you are saying. i'm assuming that if the car isn't throwing the code anymore then it was a connectivity issue and the abs is working. i'll stomp on the brakes to be sure. if the light is off and the abs doesn't work, i'll make sure and fully disclose that to the prospective buyer. i will, in now way, spoof the system just to get the light to go out and not tell the buyer.

btw, this thread is going to do wonders for my up coming FS thread isn't it ...i should have thought about that ahead of time...hahaha

I misread what you posted. It sounded to me, like you were going to defeat the light with no concern for the functionality of the ABS.
