Is the lip damaged, or is the wheel out of round? I know Mark at Hubcap Heaven has a tool to make it more "round", but the lip will be bent unless you send it to one of those wheel repair places in the back of Grassroots Motorsports. A guy I used to autocross with sent away a wheel with large chuck out of the lip and when he got it back, we couldn't find the where it had been repaired.

I'll have to call him and find the name of the place. - AB

Does it hold air?

Does it throw off the balance?

If you answer Yes then No. I wouldn't worry about it.

I agree. I had one's with a much worse lip that balanced fine. It took a little more weight, but nothing horrible. - AB

Dammit, dammit I need somebody to tell me not to buy these. I have more wheels and tires than Jeb right now. Somebody top me.

Why do need more wheels? For mounting snow tires maybe?

You are asking crack heads to tell you not to buy more crack.

Nope, not gonna happen.

You make it soooo easy, but there is a solution. Put down those girly golf clubs and get to the track more than once a year. If you make it to at least 4 events next year I'll cut you some slack...maybe.

It might be happening. I was playing in a tournament 4 weeks ago and looked down on the first hole and saw the face of my driver was cracked (bound to happen as hard as I hit it) and I haven't been able to pull the trigger on buying a new driver while still spending on car parts.

Anyway, I think I will have 4 events in this year, just not all with tarheel.

Mark Cooper can fix the rim for you... cost is around $100-125. It is going to be about that cost no matter where you go (I had one straightened recently).
