hey all. i have a coming and going miss.. it wont give any warning, but sometimes.. when i cut it off, and cut it back on.. it wont idle for nothin, and will miss miss.. the acceleration, and idle are ugly. then eventually it will go away, and clean out. what im asking, i think it is electrical, if it was mechanical, it would not clean out and then go bad, and then go and be fine..i am wondering if anyone had any answers for this problem. the problem is with my se-r.

i always feel stupid giving mechanical advise as i'm a complete dunce, but i'll give this one a shot.

it sounds like an issue with fuel delivery right...so check spark, fuel, air.

are the plugs good? change'm. maybe the wires...maybe the fuel filters, maybe a fuel line, maybe something the an air flow meter...bla bla bla.

choose the cheapest and easiest and start replacing stuff.

my plugs were far out of gap range. it said 43 thousands. they were 80 thousands. my cap and rotor dont look too promising either. lil bit of lean burn, not bad i think, and cap and rotor are not poking out all the way on the contacts

Definately good places to start. Also consider regrounding your MAF as those are trouble spots on our years of sr20's as well. Even if yours isn't causing problems now, a little pre-emptive work wouldn't hurt.
