I've got a friend who has a WS6 Trans Am with the Brembo - Gran Turismo Brakes. He's having problems finding wheels that fit.

I know he's contacted TireRack with no luck. I told him to contact Hubcap Heaven, any other ideas? I think he's looking for guidance on the backspacing needed.

Jeb is always helpful, and has offered to do test fits in the past for me for my wife's mini with the larger JCW brakes.

If he has the Brembo GT on then I believe the bare minimum front wheel is 17 x 9.5. Same as what comes on a C4 Vette or the front of a C5 Z06. He can get takeoffs from a Vette or aftermarket in same back spacing. The F-body guys regularly interchange Vette 17" wheels.

That same kit is available for the C4. The only difference is the caliper mounting bracket. On the C4 a wheel change is not required.

Graham is right.
I have Corvette ZR1 17x11s that I run all the way around over C5 brakes. I use a 1/4 inch spacer on the front and none on the rear. Some bfh work is necessary in the rear wheel well.
He might want to check www.frrax.com.
