come to the dark side LUKE.
if your front control arms are original then yes you are ready for a refresh. i thought you had done the M3 hats flipped thing Rodney. what do you need the extra camber for?
yeah, I have the flipped hats, but that only gets you about 2.3-2.5 negitive. I've also dialed out as much rear camber as I can to give me some difference. I'm currently about 1.5 in the rear.
From what I've read on bimmerforums, bimmerhaus and so on, for the car to hook up correctly, you need about 3.5n up front and 2-2.5n in the rear. I think w/ the stock rear setup, I can dail in about 2 in the rear w/ no custom control arm. The camber plates should get me what I need for the front.
That may also change my sway bar setup. Most of what I read, autox folks use a heavy front bar and stock M3 rear bar. I'm running H&R bars right now. Just need a test and tune and some seat time to see what works for me.
Where you at next year?
need a TnT for the new body rigidity and then i look into new suspension set-up. brake ducting, and i am done modding for now. i might do the AV monday track day in February to get a feel for the car. still juggling my anniversary weekend however.
with any luck 6 to 8 track weekends next season. definitely more if i can find the time and the cha-ching.
