I installed a new clutch in the civic. Now it's time to adjust it. Any guidance or links to some guidance? I haven't checked Honda-Tech yet, I'll do that tonight. The FSM is quite vague. Thanks!

If its for the 90 Si, you just turn the knob on the arm where the clutch cable attaches to the transmission. Adjust it to where it feels right.

I've adjusted the nut all over the place and the clutch doesn't let out until the very end of the pedal. Any ideas? ALL new parts were used, all were Honda parts, flywheel was resurfaced. Thanks.

Wrong clutch? Bent level arm?

Its a cable transmission, so there isnt anything much to it.

Years ago I helped a friend with a clutch on what I remember as an older Honda. On this one there was a roll pin where the clutch arm was conected to the arm with the throw out bearing. The roll pin had sheared and made the clutch act as you describe. Just a thought.

Eventually, I got it. The adjustment required smaller turns than I was doing.
