I'm looking for some parts (tach, warning indicators, etc) that were used on the bike that the engine in my FSAE car came from. The bike is an 88-89 Honda CBR600 F1 Hurricane. I've seen stuff on Ebay, but I'd like to see if there's a salvage yard within an hour or so where I could go and possibly find some of the parts I'm looking for.

There *used* to be a place out on 751 between I40 and US 64 that was a motorcycle junkyard. It's been several years since I went out there, but if you take the 751 exit off I-40 in Durham and head south towards 64, the place was on your right several miles down- hard to miss it if it's still there.

that junkyard is where we pulled some parts for our FSAE car back when I was at Duke, they should have what you're looking for, assuming they have an F1, thats kind of an old bike. . .
