I know that THSCC is a good source of nuts but this time I'm referring to the kind that goes onto bolts.

I need to get some new, high quality nylock type nuts for the top end of my suspension. I've had trouble in the past findiing a good selection at Lowes.

Any other good places to go look?

Simon

I have had a lot of success at the ACE hardware stores around here. A much better selection than Lowes.

Or just order from mcmaster.com. They ship out of Atlanta and you will often get your stuff via UPS ground the very next day, and if not you get it two days later. I know that seems like a pain for a nut or two, but they're great to deal with. Often buying a box of 25 nuts from them is the same price as two from a hardware store anyway. :(

Yeah, I like to support the local guy and all, but I live so far out in BFE that if it's something they *may* or may not have and I don't have to have it right now...

Wilder's Fasteners in North Raleigh has everything you would ever want.

Wilder's 2406 Alwin Ct. 833-2761 If they don't have it then you are out of luck.

Also, Agri-Supply on hwy 70 in Garner has a good selection of nylocks, both fractional and metric. You pick them out of bins and buy them by the pound. Typically ALOT cheaper than Lowe's or Ace, especially if you need more than a few- or just want to stock up for future use.

Just don't mix your nuts and bolts!!! They frown on that sort of behavior. :)

Bret.
