 Post subject: swaybar endlinks

While installing a rear swaybar tonight, I found that the spacers on the endlinks were not long enough for the bolts to compress the bushings. The nut would reach the end of the threads on the bolt before compressing them.

Instead of leaving them loose I added a couple of washers on each side so that the bolt would compress the bushings a little. Should there be any issues with this? I can't think of a reason why they would've intentionally done that.

Jason,

Sounds like a mistake on the vendor's part (pun intended). Can you contact the vendor? The only intentional reason I can think of would be to delay the action of the bar which sounds pretty dumb to me.
