Does anyone know of anywhere local that can widen alloy wheels? Or anywhere not so local?

Unless you have 2 piece wheels, and the manufacturer offers different width hoops I would highly doubt you'll find anyone willing to widen one piece ones. Most wheels are cast and not really compatable with adding material to them. The welding process would soften the aluminum which would then require heat treating. The liability risks would be so high that the product liability insurance premiums would make the wheels cost like they were made of platinum IMHO. MUCH cheaper to buy new wheels in the width you need or have them custom made by someone like Weld or Kodiac.

The Porsche Fuchs are forged wheels. There are several places I have found that will widen them, either by cutting and adding with to the rim, or by cutting the center out and making a 3 piece wheel of it, BUT, they are in Miami, Colorado, or California. I'd love to find someone closer to home...
