The rotors on our 2001 4-Runner are warped and need replacement. The truck has 105k miles and is still running original pads, rotors, shoes, and drums.
I know I need to replace the front pads and rotors and I've read to use the cheap napa rotors ($32 vs their $86 rotors). Toyota pads are only a couple bucks more than OEM Napa pads, so I'll go to the dealer to get them. Done deal unless someone can convince me otherwise.
What I don't know about is the drums and shoes. The shoes look fine and because of the soft suspension, I suspect they get even less use than other autos rear brakes.
The truck stops fine, just a little longer than before the rotors started warping. That's why I'm leaning towards doing the front first and seeing what that changes. Thanks for suggestions.
