^ Yeah, if you already know exactly what you want as far as setup goes than you're probably right. But if you could use some help or an education than it might be money well spent.

yeh i think i'm going to go w/ K&E. i never mentioned i was a THSCC member (theyre a sponsor so should work w/ me a little) and i dont have camber plates (just set front toe and done) so maybe it'll fall toward the lower end of that range.

I'm heading up to see Anthony Hodges tonight after work. I want to get a baseline of where the Mustang is before I start making any changes. It'll probably be a quick 30min. session this time. I do have a set of Tokico D-specs/Steeda springs sitting in the garage waiting to install. Once that's done, I'll go back and see what changed.

I hate working the course at autox and I must tell you about it, often.

I thought Mark Vittaco was doing this?
Didn't he buy the scales just to do track cars for club members?
Paging Mark, you out there...

Went to see Anthony last night - Great Guy! Very knowledgable. I would highly recommend taking the ride up there.

We put the Mustang on the scales and were surprised by how well balanced it was out of the box. Here are specs (w/driver), as expected it is front heavy, but not bad.

LF - 1006 lbs
RF - 967 lbs

LR - 888 lbs
RR - 819 lbs

Left Side Weight - 51.4%
Rear Weight - 46.4%
Cross Wieght (LR/RF) - 50.4

Hey, Graham's right. We need to remember our Club Sponsors and supporters on this kinda stuff. Mark Vitacco bought a set of scales to help out members who want to set up their cars. He runs it as a business, and is wiikid smaaat on this stuff.

K&E is also a good choice. They've been supporting THSCC for years.

If you're into car prep this deep, consider giving our guys a shot at the business :)

Sorry, kinda new here...thought I was working with someone from the club. I'm in full support of forum sponsors - I'm usually the guy who pays a little more at the local shop, rather than larger discount places.

I'm in the market for rims, tires, and an alignment. You can be sure I'll see one of the shops on the sponsor list!

I PMed Mark when i originally started this thread and got no response. Anyone heard from him or know if he still wants to do this?

My suspension has been delayed, but when it comes i'll go to K&E if Mark can't do it.

Just talked to Mark today about corner balancing and yes he's doing it. Email him @ mvitacco@nc.rr.com.

IIRC, Mark doesn't frequent the forums, so pm's or forum posts directed to him may not find their way to him for a while, if ever. Direct email is probably your best bet.
