Dan, try uninstalling Acrobat Reader again. After that, go into your C:\Program Files\ folder and look for the Adobe folder. If you don't have any other Adobe products (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.), just delete the entire folder. Otherwise, go into the Adobe folder and delete all folders having anything to do with Reader. Reader is bad about leaving junk around after uninstalling and if you don't delete it manually, it will hang around to corrupt a fresh installation. Restart the computer after deleting and try to install the latest version again as Graham suggested. Good luck!

Jim

Somebody explain to me how one of the most performance oriented versions of one of the most performance oriented cars available would "need" an improvement to the clutch "feel".

In regard to Adobe, I sometimes have situations with an Adobe file that locks up my computer using the the current latest version of Adobe (whichever version that happens to be at the time). Usually the solution is to reboot the computer and then going back to the site of the offending file and SAVING the file to my computer rather than opening it directly from the website. Some actual computer person might be able to explain what the problem is.

well considering SP allows clutch mods/upgrades can it suffice to say that i can at least run there?

i guess i'll run BSP w/ Rob or in TIRE.

mental note: keeps mods to yourself

I actually applaude you for your openess and actually wanting to be a fair competitor. When it actually comes own to it, no one in THSCC is truly going to argue with you over an insignificant mod. If you are telling us about something like this, I think it is fair to say that you would tell us about something that would be a 'deal buster'.

None the less, rules are what they are. Since you are an honest person, you are going to get the honest reaction. :)

Dan -- drive with us in STU if you want a challenge. Make sure that if you run BSP, you have some competitors there. I know that Chris Landi is going to be BSP legal next year, and I will be telling him to move from SM to there. No matter where you go, hackaroos are going to be there. :)

M3 and the STi have about the same classing structure now, so you might as well get it on where you have the best chance :)

Dan I have a similar issue with large pdf files on my computer. However if I go to the link and right click and save as a file on my computer it works just fine. I have the solo rules and the GCR on my hard disk.
