Anyone out there know of a free or inexpensive (i.e.: non-dealership) way to reset the SRS (seatbelt & airbag) light on an E36 BMW? Mine has been on since installing aftermarket seats last year, due to the lack of passenger occupancy sensor connection. I pulled the bulb out, but it also has an LED illumination that can only be turned off via reset.

If I can get it reset, it shouldn't light up again - I just installed a home-made circuit that is supposed to fool the system by simulating the original sensor.

I'm interested in the same. I'll probably just end up splitting the purchase of one and the service reset tool as well with a local buddy...

I have the Peake SRS reset tool. You guys are welcome to borrow it. Send me a PM or something so we can figure out when/where/etc. If all else fails I can bring it to the Rockingham track event in November.
