My street car has slightly warped front rotors that need turned. Looking for a place close to Raleigh that will turn rotors (brought in off car) at a reasonable price. Approximately how much per rotor?

Thanks

I had my truck's done for $20 for the pair at a place in Cary, just down from the corner of NW Maynard Rd and High House Rd, right next to the Jiffy Lube. They seemed to do a decent enough job for the price, no complaints, 40 mins in and out. Think the show was Automasters, but may be getting it confused with another shop name.

my mechanic at R&J walks them up to Southern Tire. (actually they have a golf cart) no idea how much, but you can't put a price on trust as i see it.

The CarQuest machine shop (Germantown Rd in Raleigh - near the RBC center- just west of the Hillsborough Rd split) will do them for $15 each. They are open till 1 pm or so on Saturday, and usually can do them while you wait.

Wow $15 Each... we used to them at pep boys for $5 many years ago. I can by new rotors for the del sol for 11 buck from autozone... guess I will keep doing that.

I second the vote for CarQuest's Machine shop on Germantown Rd.

CarQuest can surface racing type rotors (with seperate hats) for
$15.00 each and the guy was very nice and did not look at me
like a alian from out of space when I placed a 13 x 1 3/8th Wilwood
on his desk.

Even though Pep boys charges $9 each I would never
let them tounch anything on my car.

Most roters these days are throw away items but if you have a big
brake kit or one of the older thicker rotors its certainly an option.

I've used Pep Boyz on Glenwood and they charged $12 I think. Good work and quick turn around.
