Okay, this is a dumb question. I should know this. I used to know this. For Koni Yellows... which way do you rotate the needle valve on the externally adjustable shocks to SOFTEN the car? clockwise or counterclockwise? And about how many turns is it from full soft to full stiff on Koni Yellows? I think it is about 2 1/4 turns, but I'm not sure.
I have Koni yellows on the Firebird, which I'm about to sell. The car is still set up at full stiff. And of course, I haven't adjusted them in so long that I have no idea where my adjustment knob is. That isn't a big deal, except that I don't remember which way to turn them to soften the car.
And.. they haven't been adjusted in several years, so I'm wondering what the chances are that the needle valve will even move anymore.
And while I'm at it, what about the rears- (which are internally adjustable). They have three settings.. and right now they are on a middle setting. Which way should they be rotated to soften vs stiffen? Is it labeled? I haven't been under that car in a long time.
Thanks.
Miles
