It was a place near the racetrack. I need to look it up, for I bought 2 gallons from them last year. Even my Protege has Redline ;) - AB

Found it. It appears their price is now between $24 and $25 per gallon, for they don't normally stock it anymore, but can order it and have it in 2 days. Talk to Daryl at the Concord location:

Heintz Performance

While you're there, check out the Richard Petty driving school shops and the like next door. Very cool stuff out there. :)

Wow! Thanks for the info all. I'm gonna give T-Hoff a call and see what they got for me. I don't think the Mustang shop would be to keen on seeing me pull up asking for fluid's. Even though everyone's money is green, they probably still wouldn't be to happy.

Thanks again.

Carolina Mustang has people buy it from them all the time, so don't worry if your marque is not a Ford. I drove over in a my riced out Celica and they were more than pleased to sell it to me. Plus, Joel Heywood's friend is one of the guys over there, and has been to a few THSCC autocrosses (just to watch I think). He's a super nice guy, although his name escapes me. - AB

I found Carolina Mustang had the best prices of anyone around here for Redline oil, trans fluid, and diff fluid and had them in stock. And they won't give you crap about driving a Subaru, as long as you park across the street

The 75w90 gear oil has additives in it enough so that on a GM RWD car you don't need to add the limited slip additive in most cases. Unfortunately Jim it doesn't guarantee Mister Two won't have an "incident" and it's still gear fluid. A mess to cleanup and it stinks to high heaven if it hits the exhaust pipes...

Redline has good documentation on their website about which product for which application and their tech support is very good.

They don't care if you show up in a Contour SVT or a Miata. But a Subaru? Maybe not.

they (Carolina Mustang) are not real keen on corvettes however. when you are dyed in the wool ford blue or something like that.

seriously though, a great place for any enthusiast to shop. i visited often when i had a GT, always very knowledgeable and helpful. i went to a 3:73 and put in redline. they were kind of dissapointed when i told them i was trading my mustang for a vette.
